News item entitled, "Virginia Women May Control Election" which says, "Predictions are being made that the registration of women in Virginia is so heavy that the will control the election. Especially keen have been the activities of the women of Richmond, where more than ten thousand new voters have been registered."
The story also notes that "The University of Virginia is providing Valuable citizenship training for the women of the state, sending Miss Mary Elizabeth Pidgeon, director of its department of Citizenship Education, to communities willing to pay travelling expenses and entertainment."
