Ths is the 34th edition of the Little Red Songbook, also known as I.W.W. Songs or Songs of the Industrial Workers of the World. The book is a compilation of tunes, hymns, and songs used by the Industrial Workers of the World (I.W.W.) to help build morale, promote solidarity and lift the spirits of the working-class. 

An excerpt from the song "Workers of the World Awaken" by Joe Hill begins 
"Workers of the World awaken 
Break your chains, demand your rights 
All the wealth you make is taken 
By exploiting parasites..."
