Invitation to register for Citizenship Conference, Washington, D.C., October 13 - 15, 1923

Description

Letter with pamphlet and registration card advertising a Citizenship Conference at the Raleigh Hotel in Washington, D.C. to be held on October 13, 14, and 15, 1923. The conference was held for the "Consideration of Integrity of Fundamental Law with Particular Reference to the 'Eighteenth Amendment' and the 'Volstead Act.'"

The letter promises that "The Conference will be received by President Coolidge at the White House and among the speakers will be Governor Pinchot, Governor E. Lee Trinkle, Senator Borah, Mr. Williams Jennings Bryan and Hon. Louis Marshall."
