As described by White, Education for Citizenship seeks " to furnish information, to awaken the sense of personal responsibility, to stimulate interest, to arouse the social conscience, and to quicken sympathy..." This educational work carried out by the State League of Women Voters falls under three categories: citizenship, politics, and legislation.
