Description

Liz Vantrease, Class of 1970, reads a copy of the student newspaper, The Bullet, next to a cut out of a Vietnam War soldier who wears a peace sign and a flower.

Newspaper headline reads "The Word is 'Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out.'" -- a reference to the countercultural phrase popularized by Timothy Leary.

An advertisement may be seen in the newspaper for a Love-In to be held "High Noon," Sunday, September 24th at Grove Park  "Bring Blankets, Bubbles...Bananas, Banjos, Bells...."
